Jay Z Responds to Iconix's $10 million lawsuit. "I'm not directly involved with the merchandise that was sold"
Black Celebrity Gossip - Jay Z has finally responded to that company Iconix that is suing him for a whopping $10 million according to daily Mail.com.uk. In this lawsuit, Iconix claims they owned the exclusive rights to produce Rock Nation products in 2007. The company Iconix who also owns Ed Hardy, said they paid 204 million for the trademark deal and it was breached by MLB, Jay Z Rock Nation and the store that sells hats, Lids.
Jay Z has made it clear that he is not directly involved with the merchandise that was sold. In the picture below you will see a New York Mets hat and a Miami Marlins hat with Jay Z's Rock Nation logo on it which breaches the contract he had with Iconix. Jay Z isn't the only one getting sued for this merchandise, according to the source, Iconix is also suing MLB, The San Francisco Giants, New Era and Lids.
